Position overview

Saas.group is the sort of company where other companies feel safe. Currently nurturing 7 start-ups (sniply.io, juicer.io, prerender.io, deploybot.com, git-tower.com, rewardful.com, pipelinecrm.com), we are determined to help provide a full spectre of services to help these companies reach their full potential. One very crucial service we provide to our ventures is marketing and growth.

Content marketing is a key component of our overall marketing strategy. That’s where you come in: We are looking for a passionate and curious candidate with a high affinity for content marketing to support our portfolio companies with all sorts of content marketing related projects. You’ll be working closely with our Content Marketing Lead to drive traffic, generate demand and build an audience/community (while also optimising for seo rankings) through content.

You get the chance to work with an experienced team that will give you guidance and help you to learn and grow as much as possible in this role.

Company information

Saas.group was founded in 2017 with a simple goal in mind: to help small companies reach their full potential. We looked at what made private equity firms and other common routes so maddening, and worked backward, simplifying every step. The result has been founders and teams who are happy with the process and relieved to see their SaaS business in a great home for the long term. Sounds great, right? Let’s make it even better!

Your responsibilities

  • Content Planning and Creation: You’ll support the team with the content planning and contribute content yourself - both through copywriting as well as copyediting. This includes content for a range of mediums such as blogs, newsletters, guides, guest posts, case studies and social media posts.
  • Content Distribution: creating content is just one part of a successful content marketing strategy. You’ll make sure our content receives the attention it deserves by distributing it via our own channels as well as third-party sites (newsletters, communities, etc.)
  • Analysis and reporting: to evaluate the effectiveness of our content strategy, you’ll analyze new and existing content and its impact (traffic, conversions, seo rankings), document your findings with regular reports and prepare best practices.
  • Research: You like to stay on top of new content formats and channels worth exploring. You’ll work closely with our SEO Marketing Manager to come up with and verify the potential of new content ideas.

What you bring to the table

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for technology/software companies. Extra points if you already have relevant experience within the tech startup ecosystem (e.g. through an internship).
  • You have first experience in content creation and writing (be it through initial work experience, internships or your own blog).
  • You have great writing and research skills with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • You are fluent in English and have excellent communication skills.
  • You are well organized, you know how to prioritize tasks, and you get things done.
  • You feel comfortable working in a remote-first setup.

What we offer

  • Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like. European time zone preferred.
  • Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of independence to solve problems in your own way — with plenty of help from the team when you need it.
  • Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable.
  • Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around.
  • Unlimited paid time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed.
