LOCATION: Hamburg, Germany

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

In this role, you will support the German Brand Manager in ensuring the implementation of BAT Germany Marketing Strategy for our combustible brands (i.e., Lucky Strike, Pall Mall) or Reduced-risk products (i.e. Glo, Vapour). You will work in an agile way in the context of a dynamic environment for one specific brand, manage diverse stakeholders and deploy Marketing Activities ensuring a perfect fit to local end market needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Support Brand Manager in the strategic and operational brand planning and bring in your own ideas and creativity by having a lot of freedom in your job
  • Manage, conduct, and evaluate projects to implement brand strategy
  • Drive product and campaign development in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Brief agencies for campaign creation and asset adaptation of assigned brand projects
  • Act as Single Point of Contact in coordinating, briefing, and delivering local brand cycle plan initiatives with the relevant internal and above market stakeholders
  • Analyze market performance, trends, as well as consumer behavior to recommend and support insights-based growth opportunities
  • Support activity evaluations and make robust recommendations for upcoming ones
  • Support Forecasting and Supply Chain team in ensuring proper plan for new product introduction and key marketing activities
  • Functionally direct and coach trainees and interns and conduct know-how transfer for new staff members of Marketing team.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • University Degree (ideally Master) or equivalent, ideally a degree in Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years experiences in Brand or Trade marketing, preferably in global FMCG company
  • Strong business understanding regarding process and cross-functional project and stakeholder management as well as solid analytical skills
  • Outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. A committed team player who can effectively engage and influence
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and cope with complexity, time pressure in a dynamic and performance-driven environment
  • Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, accountability & drive - entrepreneurial spirit
  • Can do attitude, open-minded, bold, resilient, and well organized
  • Fluent in English and German
