Mushlabs is a biotech startup using cellular agriculture to create the next generation of sustainable foods from the roots of mushrooms. We grow fungal mycelium to create nutritious and delicious raw ingredients that form the basis of nutritious and sustainable meat substitute products. Your Mission:

  • You support our Business Development Team in developing the sidestream, retail & food-service expansion strategy
  • You support in implementing new growth projects in Germany and abroad with a focus on cooperations with retailers & manufacturers
  • After successful launch of new partnerships, you support in coordinating measures for their expansion in close cooperation with our Partner Account Managers
  • You support in grant and award applications and regular market research projects
  • You build a great understanding of customer needs and the market to identify actual and future market trends
  • Be always up to date on the latest developments and build a strong network with experts in this field
  • Challenge existing processes as well as partnership models, bring new ideas to increase Mushlabs’s growth rate and presence

Your Profile:

  • University degree in Business or STEM (Science, Technology Engineering, Math)
  • Min. 2 years professional experience within the field of Sales, Account Management or Business Development in FMCG or retail
  • Experience in Biotech or food industry strongly preferred
  • First experiences in grant applications and market research are an advantage
  • You enjoy communicating with international teams and have good communication skills
  • Great self-organisational skills– you can multitask and are energized by working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Fluency in English and German
