About the job

Email is one of the most important channels to reach our customer (Healthcare Professionals) in pharmaceutical industry. This role is a key local Business Operation & Support position, to ensure a proper local rollout and continuous optimal use of the tool. You will be leading the strategic development of Salesforce Marketing Cloud in multi-country region: Germany, Switzerland and Austria for all three Global Business Units. You are also in the responsibility to manage the day-to-day operations, implement features according to market needs and optimize the running process associated with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to ensure the best omnichannel experience from our customers point of view.

Main responsibilities:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations and maintenance associated with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) with HTML expertise and troubleshooting skills
  • Executing multi-step marketing and data management activities on an immediate, triggered or scheduled basis
  • Coordinating and actively communicating the solution implementation suitable for business needs in testing and implementing new SFMC features (such as customer journey building, dynamic content, content blocks, survey archetype, webinar archetype, datorama) within Sanofi’s technical and organizational framework
  • Creating and continuously optimizing the campaign briefing process
  • Translating regional marketing campaign needs into technical and data requirements and identifying the relevant SFMC features to implement
  • Conducting post-campaign analysis, campaign pre-planning, or ad hoc analysis in BI tools such as Datorama and PowerBI (preferred); in some cases prepare Excel-based reports as required for stakeholders
  • Supporting the integration of SFMC with Veeva CRM system cloud and other enterprise systems

About you

Education and professional Experience

  • Bachelor's / Postgraduate degree, professional qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer & Consultant certification required
  • Existing Work experience in end-to-end SFMC implementation
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus

Soft skills

  • Hands-on-approach and proactive/open Mindset for challenges
  • High receptivity on detailed information
  • Open mindset towards working as a team

Technical skills

  • Strong experience in HTML/CSS, SQL, REST/SOAP API, AMP script and SSJS
  • Experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, DMP is a must

Languages

  • Very good English skills
  • Knowledge in German language
