Job description

Are you able to plan and manage the operations of a company and its various departments, including, e.g., development, production, distribution, and marketing? Can you ensure these departments all work together smoothly, to collectively reach the company's goals and missions? 

We’re looking for a new Head of Operations responsible for planning, implementing, and continuously improving internal operations on a company-wide level. You’ll be joining our talented team, with stakeholders all across the business, and will work closely together with all key personnel across the company to ensure each department follows the overarching strategy and enable them by onboarding the right talents to reach set goals.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and carrying out the internal growth strategy and roadmap for and with the individual functions
  • Assessing the operational needs and promoting organizational efficiency of existing and new operations
  • Optimizing and establishing new processes as well as systems in the internal tools landscape
  • Defining the infrastructure for accountability across the organization while ensuring the organization is aligned with the company's core values
  • Working together with the CEO and Business Development on the continuous improvement of strategy, initiatives, and measures
  • Reporting on progress toward targets and company goals
  • Overseeing any collaborations with external operations stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other for these responsibilities relevant fields of study
  • 10+ years of professional experience in relevant (senior) business positions
  • Track record of managing and/or advising operations teams
  • Proven experience in defining and/or improving a company’s operations
  • Strong negotiation power to construct contracts with high-level operations stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices and trends related to the operations of a company
  • Proficiency in English and German, additional languages are a plus
