Aileen Puhlmann studied development policy with a focus on Africa in London. She then moved to South Africa for seven years, where she worked for GIZ (German development agency) in local economic development. She is now a full-time director of Lemonaid & Charitea e.V. Aileen also founded "Community Kids," a parent-child initiative for parents of color, in Hamburg and addresses the realities of living in Germany as a person of color, single mother, and social inequality in a variety of ways in articles, podcasts and as a speaker. At the OMR Festival, she will speak on the 5050 Stage in a joint panel with Future Female Africa.
