The OMR Festival is the flagship product of the Online Marketing Rockstars (OMR). First held in 2011 with some 200 attendees, OMR Festival 2018 will be a 2-day celebration of the digital marketing industry with an Expo, Conference, Masterclasses, Side Events and parties. It's a must for established industry pros and aspiring players alike. On March 22 & 23, OMR18 will open its doors to some 40,000 attendees. #OMR18

As the OMR Festival grows, so too does the range of events held in conjunction with the Festival. The Conference, Expo, Masterclasses, Guided Tours, Expo Party and Live Concerts are held in different Halls at the Hamburg Messe exhibition center. For our Side Events, we use various partner locations throughout the Hamburg city center. Friday night's OMR Clubbingincludes a wide range of Restaurants, Bars and Clubs in Sternschanze and St. Pauli.
The Hamburg Messe (Exhibition center) is centrally located and well connected to the local public transportation system. We recommend taking the S-Bahn or U-Bahn to the Sternschanze station, the S-Bahn and long-distance train station Dammtor, as well as the U-Bahn station Messehallen. You can also visit hvv.de to find the best connection. If you wish to come by car, feel free to use the Hamburg Messe carpark.
The two-day event is held every year in either February or March in Hamburg, Germany. OMR18 takes place March 22 & 23. The Expo is held on both days; the Conference is Friday only.
Online Marketing Rockstars – OMR for short – is a platform dedicated to all things Digital Marketing. On dev.omr.com, you'll find articles, podcasts, videos, digital how-to guides we call Reports, a jobs portal, our industry directory Listed Companies and all sorts of events, seminars and much more. Our flagship product is the annual OMR Festival.
Other than the free OMR shirt you'll receive from us there are no outfit restrictions. In our experience it is best to wear warm, comfortable clothing.
Although, we do not have the resources to communicate directly with your respective embassy, we will gladly provide you with a document confirming that you have a job at OMR Festival. For all other information pertaining to your visa application, please contact the office responsible.

We have two ticket categories available. First there is the OMR18 Expo only ticket, which grants you access two-day access to the Expo area, Masterclasses as well as the Expo Party and OMR Clubbing on Friday. Then there is the OMR18 All-incl. ticket, which allows you to attend the same areas as the Expo-only ticke, while also granting you access to the Festival highlight—the Conference and Live Concerts Friday.
The OMR18 All-incl. ticket grants you access to the Expo, Masterclasses, Expo Party, the Conference, as well as Live Concerts and OMR City Night, which both take place after the Conference.
Your ticket is sent automatically via email when purchased. The sender of this ticket mail is our partner XING Events. Should you be unable to locate the email, please check your spam folder.
Tickets may be transferred to another person in extreme cases. In such cases, just send us the following information by no later than March 15, 2018: name and ticket number of the person unable to attend, plus the name, company, job title and email address of the new ticket owner. Please send the aforementioned information to email@example.com.
No, you do not. By purchasing an Expo-only ticket, you are eligible to attend a Masterclass.

Unfortunately no. All tickets to OMR18 are issued to individual persons and are non-transferable after said person has been registered.
To attend OMR, you must purchase a personalized ticket, which are available on our ticket page.
We recommend doing so, yes. This helps everyone quickly and clearly seeing who you are and what you do. If you leave the Hall and wish to reenter, you are required to wear your badge.
No. During the two-day Festival, you should keep your wristband on, because when removed it is no longer valid.
At the Festival entrance, you can receive a Festival band, which lets you to re-enter the Festival.
We can't make any promises there. So be sure to bring your own powerbank with you.
Of course, dear herbivore! There will be an excellent selection of both vegetarian and vegan food available at OMR.
For all attendees in possession of a Expo only-ticket, food and drink is available for purchase. The All incl.-Ticket includes free food and drink on Friday at the Conference in Hall A1.
At OMR18, we're staying cashless—but we there won't be any chip system like last year. This time around you can pay everywhere using your EC or credit cards.
If you have a speaker suggestion for OMR Festival, we'd love to hear from you. Simply drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. But we ask for your understanding should we decline your suggestion.
If you have an Expo-only-Ticket, you may enter OMR18 on Thursday and Friday (March 22 & 23) at 9:00 AM. The program on the Expo Stages begins at 10:00 AM. If you have an All-incl. ticket, you may enter at the same times as above PLUS you may enter the Conference on Friday beginning at 7:30 AM. The Conference starts at 9AM sharp.
No, cigarettes will not be available for purchase at OMR18. However, our partners at IQOS will have tobacco-alternative products available on site.
There is a smoking area located between Hall A1 and A2 designated for the use of standard cigarettes. Inside the halls, attendees may use IQOS tobacco-alternative products, which are available on site.
If you are not 18 years old, you must be attended by a parent or guardian.
