About the speaker
Verena Pausder is an entrepreneur, podcaster, and co-founder of FC Viktoria Berlin. As chairwoman of the Startup Association, she has also been the voice of founders in Germany since 2023. She can draw on her own experiences in this role. In 2012, she founded the company Fox & Sheep, which develops digital products for children and whose apps have been downloaded millions of times (acquired by Haba in 2015). Alongside her work, Verena Pausder has become increasingly involved in digital policy. In her Spiegel bestseller “Das Neue Land,” published in 2020, she outlines a vision for the future of Germany. As the successor to Christian Miele, Verena Pausder has led the Startup Association since 2023. She is also co-founder and driving force behind the women’s team of FC Viktoria Berlin. With the goal of leading the club to the 1st Bundesliga and sustainably professionalizing women’s football, she has mobilized a broad network of prominent female investors, thus generating nationwide attention for equal opportunities in sports. Together with Lea-Sophie Cramer, she also hosts “Fast & Curious,” one of the most successful business podcasts in Germany.
