Omar Nhas is the founder of Nhas City Chicken, one of the fastest-growing food brands in urban areas. Within just two years, he established four locations in Berlin and developed the concept into one of Germany's highest-grossing rotisserie chicken providers. At the Rosenthaler Platz location alone, around 40,000 half chickens are sold monthly. But the real story begins long before Berlin.

Nhas City Chicken's roots lie in 1980s Lebanon, where Omar's grandfather opened his first chicken restaurant, known for its handmade spice blends, quality, and hospitality. This tradition was brought to Berlin-Neukölln by his uncle in the 1990s. Omar grew up in this very environment. By the age of ten, he was already working in the restaurant, clearing plates, observing operations, and learning the business from the ground up. Even then, he knew: he wanted to do more with this product than just run a restaurant.

In 2020, Omar began to think bigger about the concept and expand it together with a business partner. But the collaboration ends in a falling out—costing him everything he had built up. Omar suddenly finds himself back at square one. All that remains is his experience, his knowledge, and his vision.

In 2023, he decides on a radical restart. Alone. With a clear focus. He relaunches Nhas City Chicken, this time not just as a restaurant, but as a scalable system. He combines the family recipe with modern chain restaurants and a strong digital brand strategy. The crucial difference: Omar isn't just building a product, he's building a community. Through social media, authentic storytelling, and direct communication, a brand emerges that resonates far beyond Berlin.

Omar thus represents a new entrepreneurial model: creator mindset meets chain restaurant. He connects heritage and present, craftsmanship and scaling, personality and brand. His journey demonstrates how a simple product can become a cultural phenomenon and why the current chicken boom is no accident, but rather the result of community, clarity, and consistent execution.
