About the speaker
Malte Landwehr is the CPO of Peec AI, one of Europe’s fastest growing startups. He discovered SEO by accident at age 13 when strangers began finding his first website through Google - a moment that sparked a 20+ year career at the forefront of search and digital marketing.
Before Peec AI, Malte was VP of SEO at idealo, the largest price comparison platform in the world. There he nearly doubled organic traffic over five years. Malte previously served as VP of Product at Searchmetrics, working closely with global brands such as Apple, Sephora, and Zappos.
Malte’s career spans founding an SEO agency, building one of Germany’s largest blogs, management consulting, and leading teams of up to 40 across product, engineering, and SEO. A pivotal moment came during a self-imposed break from Google while traveling in South Korea, when he realized how dramatically AI tools were reshaping search behavior - prompting him to leave a secure VP role to join Peec AI.
Today, Malte helps brands understand and adapt to the biggest shift in search since Google’s rise, combining deep SEO expertise with hands-on experience in AI-driven discovery, attribution, and visibility.
