OMR26: Accreditation information for media representatives

Press accreditations for the OMR Festival can be applied for online on this website. The content of Finance Forward will take place in the overall OMR program. There is no separate accreditation for Finance Forward. The following sections contain all relevant information regarding the accreditation process for media representatives.

Accreditation guidelines for press

Press accreditation is exclusively reserved for the purpose of journalistic reporting. We ask for your understanding that it may take several days to verify accreditations due to the large number of requests. We are unable to provide press accreditation to the following groups of people: Persons without a journalistic background (e.g. account managers, sales managers, advertising managers, PR consultants, social media managers and private accompanying persons), persons who present a written assignment from a freelance journalist and persons who are only active privately on social networks.

I already have a ticket but require a filming permit for the OMR Festival.

For a filming permit, journalists can contact the PR team at presse@omr.com.

Does the press ticket apply for both days?

Yes, the press ticket is valid for both days.

Is the accreditation free of charge?

Yes, press accreditation for the OMR Festival is free.

Who can submit a request for press accreditation?

Press accreditations are reserved for active media representatives (e.g. journalists, photographers, camera crews, or bloggers) and are granted exclusively for the purpose of journalistic coverage of the festival.

We are unable to provide press accreditation to the following groups of people:

Individuals without journalistic credentials (e.g. account managers, sales managers, advertising managers, PR consultants, social media managers, as well as private accompanying persons), individuals who present a written assignment from a freelance journalist, and individuals who are active exclusively in social networks in a private capacity.

Do I need separate accreditation to attend Finance Forward content?

The content of Finance Forward is integrated into the overall OMR program and takes place across the various stages. With their press accreditation, journalists can therefore attend both OMR26 and FFWD26 content. There is no separate accreditation for Finance Forward.

When can I expect a response regarding my press accreditation request?

We review requests continuously and will respond as soon as possible. Please understand that due to the high volume of inquiries, the accreditation review may take several days.

Can I register on behalf of my colleagues using the accreditation form?

Yes, you can. However, our system only permits one registration per email address. Every person applying for a ticket must use a unique email address.

Information for Accredited Press

Is there a lounge area for press representatives?

Yes, all press representatives with a press badge have the opportunity to use the on-site press lounge, located in Hall A4 on the 2nd floor.

Are there facilities available that can be booked for interviews?

Yes, accredited journalists can book a room for interviews via OMR (free of charge). This room is located in Hall A4 on the 2nd floor and must be booked in advance. Please contact presse@omr.com for this purpose.

Will the stage content be broadcast via livestream?

This year, as in 2025, we will not be offering a general livestream of the OMR stage program.

Can I arrange interviews with speakers in advance or on-site?

Many speakers at the OMR Festival are happy to be available for interviews. We ask you to approach the respective speakers and their management directly with interview requests.

I need a filming permit for the OMR Festival.

Journalists can request a filming permit by contacting the PR team at presse@omr.com.

Where can I film inside Hall B7 (Conference Stage)?

Camera teams and photographers can use the press platform in Hall B7 for photos and video recordings of the Conference Stage. All accredited press members have access to the press platform. Upon request, they may also tap into the audio at the FOH (Front of House), located next to the press platform.

Are there restrictions on filming certain performances in Hall B7?

Restrictions for specific sessions will be communicated shortly via email by the OMR PR team.

Why should camera teams use wired instead of wireless microphones?

Camera crews are requested to conduct interviews without wireless equipment and use cables exclusively. The wireless channels are needed internally to ensure the smooth and secure operation of the OMR Festival. If you have any questions, press representatives, camera crews, and those responsible for camera operations can contact presse@omr.com.

Where can I park?

There are no designated parking spaces for camera teams. We recommend using public transportation or allowing extra time to search for parking lots. Parking is available in the Messe Parking Garage. Messe Ost underground parking is not available for public use.
