About us

Wolt is a technology company founded in Helsinki that makes it easy to discover restaurants, grocery stores, and other local businesses and order deliveries. Its goal is to make cities better for customers, merchants, and couriers: customers order via the app, merchants grow their revenue, and couriers earn money flexibly. To enable this, Wolt develops technologies ranging from local logistics and retail software to financial solutions. Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022. DoorDash operates in over 30 countries, in 28 of them under the Wolt brand and product.
