Photographer and National Geographic author Dennis Schmelz offers practical insights into the work of a professional photographer/videographer behind the camera and how to collaborate with a pro to develop the perfect workflow for high-quality content and explore opportunities for post-production, using the photo book “AugenBlicke” as an example. What you’ll learn in this masterclass: A practical workflow—from concept to upload—and how images come together to form a story. Storytelling & editing, as well as camera techniques & settings—using the Sony A7M5 and his book “AugenBlicke” as examples.

But how does an idea turn into a podcast that truly grows? In this masterclass, Sony expert Oliver Burkat and OMR Podcast Producer Hardy Haufe demonstrate how to develop and produce professional podcast formats – from the initial idea to publishing on multiple platforms. Moderator Mike Suminski guides you through the session and speaks about real production workflows, setups, and quality standards. You will learn why video is becoming increasingly important for modern podcasts and how to produce content that is both heard and seen.
