The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) promotes the participation of young innovative companies (Young Innovators) in selected leading international trade fairs in Germany. The export of new products and processes in particular is supported at favorable conditions. Participation in joint stands organized by the respective trade fair organizers is eligible for funding. Such trade fairs are determined annually by the BMWE. This year the Young Innovators Area at the OMR comprises 60 sponsored exhibitors.
