About the speaker
Dennis Schmelz (36) is an award-winning filmmaker from Erfurt, Germany, whose work takes him to the remote corners of the world in search of authentic moments and fresh perspectives. He has documented over 70 countries and earned accolades like “Best Travel Film” at the Cannes World Film Festival, exhibited internationally in Dubai, and showcased his work on New York’s Times Square. Besides creating viral content on his own channels, he collaborates with renowned clients in tourism, outdoor, and travel, and has produced music videos for German artists such as Clueso, Modeselektor, and Megaloh.
