Performance Marketing Manager (m/w/d)

At Travelworks, we help people of all ages from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland explore the world and discover new skills or adventures. We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager who's excited about travel, advertising, and analytics.
As a Junior Performance Marketing Manager (m/f/d), you'll have ownership over day-to-day management of Search campaigns together with the Head of Performance. This role will also be deeply involved in CRO, SEO, and web analytics. Your main focus is to manage, develop, and act as the key communicator regarding our performance marketing efforts in Search and digital product.

Your mission

Search Engine Advertising (SEA)

• Manage paid search campaigns on Google and Microsoft ads, including campaign strategy, optimisations, budget management, and testing
• Collaborate with brand and content team members to develop creative and web experience for performance campaigns

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

• Ideate and manage CRO testing, collaborating with the performance marketing team members to create the strategy and backlog of opportunities
• Identify and brief content opportunities in collaboration with the brand and content team

Tracking & Data Infrastructure

• Implement, test, and manage projects and ongoing maintenance for marketing consent and tracking to ensure GDPR compliance together with marketing and legal teams

Reporting & Performance Insights

• Build and maintain performance marketing reporting for team members and wider business needs, ensuring detail relevant to the user and use cases
• Analyse SEA and web performance on an ongoing basis, identifying opportunities and challenges by turning metrics into insights

Your profile

The ideal candidate would have:

• Professional experience in digital or performance marketing (permanent role, working student position, or an internship)
• Hands-on experience managing Paid Search campaign
• Analytical focus, leaning into "expert" mode, with the ability to translate data for creative-focused and generalist colleagues
• Experience with or understanding of GA4, Tag Manager, and server-to-server structures
• Clear ability to communicate with colleagues in English and German
• Remote may be possible depending on experience
