OMR Reviews is our newest project and aims to establish itself as the leading platform for reviews of software products in the DACH market. At omr.com/reviews, testimonials from real users bring transparency to the SaaS market. With our service, we provide orientation in a confusing market and give decision-makers security when buying software products.

About the Role:

OMR is building the leading SAAS marketplace in Germany. As a senior software engineer on the OMR tech team, you will architect and develop OMR Reviews and its supporting data products, which will improve discovery for thousands of SaaS products to ours business users. We are looking for passionate engineers who are excited to solve problems at scale in a friendly and productive environment.

You Will:

• Design, build, and maintain performant, reliable web services and applications
• Establish and champion engineering best practices within our team
• Produce clean, high-quality code, tests, and documentation
• Actively contribute to code and design reviews within the team
• Contribute engineering input and feedback into product planning processes
• Partner with fellow engineers in our team to accomplish complex projects together

You Have:

• Readiness to try new things and work with a diverse group of people
• 5+ years of relevant work experience as a (full-stack) software engineer
• Experience writing high-quality production code at scale
• Proficiency with Ruby (on Rails), Database management at scale, data modeling, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Proficiency with Vue.js or another web frontend architecture like React or Angular
• Sound technical judgment and a bias for action
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Bonus Points:

• Experience using Google Cloud Services
• Experience with GraphQL in production systems
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Docker
