The Assistant Brand Manager (Contractor) will be part of the GAS Marketing Team based in our Munich office, working on marketing execution and promotional activities of Spin Master’s brand portfolio.

This is a hands-on and high-responsibility role that will challenge you to manage a diverse team of cross-functional peers.


How will you create impact?
 

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for the following tasks in an autonomous way, supported by and reporting into a current member of the team / a Brand Manager (colleague):

  • Develop and manage the marketing plan for the assigned brands, including brand and product marketing strategy, product positioning, packaging strategy, creative strategy briefs, market research and consumer insights, advertising, in-store POP, public relations, licensing relations, e-comm, and targeted consumer/trade outreach and promotions.
  • Work closely with licensors to drive the growth of the licenses across the region.
  • Forecasting: closely working with Supply/Demand Planners and Sales Team to review and implement monthly changes as part of Forecasting Reviews.
  • Manage the financial aspects of a portfolio of the brand, including costing and pricing, PL, budgeting, SKU rationalization and profitability analysis.
  • Participate in sales presentations for retailers and provide sales tools supporting successful sell in of the brands.
  • Manage close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Supply/Demand Planning and Finance.

What are your skills and experience?

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Marketing /Communications/ Business/Economics.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years relevant marketing experience ideally in the Toy Industry, other kid-related industries (for example toy retail or kid licensing - marketing/licensing/entertainment business) or FMCG / Fashion.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of marketing tactics from media, in-store and consumer promotions.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of image and video editing software is a pre.
  • Native in German
  • Fluent in English
