What did you like?

ProductsUp kann mehrere Millionen Produkte verarbeiten und mit zahlreichen Regeln modifizieren. Die Feederstellung und das Management für Marketingkanäle wie Facebook/Meta, GDN, Google Shopping, Pinterest uvm. läuft sehr effizient und nutzerfreundlich. Man kann alle Feeds auf dem ProductsUp eigenen Server hosten und es gibt zahlreiche weitere APIs, über die man das auch lösen kann, die von ProductsUp unterstützt werden. Der Support ist auch ausgesprochen freundlich und kompetent.

What did you not like?

Wenn zum Beispiel an einem Tag der Feed nicht mehr funktioniert, kann man nicht auf eine ältere Version zurückgreifen. Das wäre ein Feature, das so manche Outages verhindert hätte.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Mit ProductsUp können wir unsere massive Produktanzahl (über 4 Millionen) effektiv verwalten, sowohl für Marketing- als auch Website-Zwecke. Mit Bulk-Edits können sehr große Änderungen am Feed sehr effizient durchgeführt werden. Für die Feeds sind allerlei Regeln einstellbar, um den Feed nach den eigenen Wünschen zu konfigurieren.

What did you like?

Das Tool ist sehr breit aufgestellt, was Data-In und Data-Out angeht. Je nach Anforderungen lässt sich eigentlich alles auch individuell konfigurieren. Die Regelboxen sind sehr leicht verständlich, so dass jeder ohne IT-Knowhow seine eigenen Feeds zusammenstellen kann. Ebenfalls positiv hervorzuheben ist der schnelle und sehr gute Support.

What did you not like?

Eigentlich wird alles sehr gut abgedeckt. Was manchmal nicht so ersichtlich ist, welcher Service (Modul) im eigenen Vertrag enthalten ist (z. B. Data Services für Bilder, Marktplätze). Hier würde ich mir einen Hinweis im UI wünschen. Ebenso scheint es noch keine native Verknüpfung zu Teams für Benachrichtigungen zu geben, das würde helfen, um auf Fehler schneller aufmerksam zu werden.

Wir nutzen hauptsächlich die Plattform, um Produkinformationen aus verschiedenen Quellen zusammenzufügen und individuelle Feeds für unsere Marketingkanäle und andere externe Partner zur Verfügung zu stellen. Ein Vorteil ist, dass unsere IT nur einen primären Datenfeed oder Stream für das Online Marketing zur Verfügung stellen muss. Ebenso lassen sich im Tool Einstellungen schnell für andere Abnehmer kopieren, was viel Zeit erspart. Im Vergleich zum alten Setup über Dienstleister sparen wir auch viel Zeit bei der Fehleranalyse und deren Behebung.

What did you like?

Es gibt viele Regulierungsmöglichkeiten für den Feed. Entweder man kann einzelne Spalten bearbeiten, dafür gibt es zahlreiche Boxen mit denen Einschränkungen/Verknüpfungen getätigt werden können oder man kann übergreifende Funktionen nutzen um Produkte auszuschließen oder anzupassen. Außerdem sind viele Plattformen vertreten, für die es schon blanko-Feeds gibt, die Einrichtung ist gut machbar.

What did you not like?

Es sind so viele Funktionen, dass man den zeitweise Überblick verlieren kann. Manche "Probleme" lassen sich auf verschiedene Weisen lösen, dass man uU. ein bisschen suchen muss, bis man die Einstellung findet, die man bearbeiten möchte. Besonders latent in von anderen Personen erstellten Feeds.

Es ist ein dynamischer Feed, welcher laufend aktualisiert wird. So spart man sich die manuelle Arbeit die Produktliste bzw -Bestände zu pflegen. Außerdem funktioniert der Export wunderbar und wenn mal ein Problem auftritt, wird es erkannt und kann schnell behoben werden.

What did you like?

Productsup ist mächtig - und das nicht zu knapp. In diesem Tool lassen sich (sobald man einmal den Überblick gewonnen hat) alle Regeln, die zur Erstellung eines Produktdatenfeeds nötig sind, einfach anlegen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Support. Hat man mal eine Frage, dauert es keine 30 Minuten bis zur Antwort.

What did you not like?

Bis auf ein paar wenige Kleinigkeiten (bspw. das verschieben eines Feeds in eine andere Kategorie) oder das einfach begrenzen von Produktkategorien in einem Feed gibt es hier nichts zu meckern. Ist aber auch schon sehr speziell.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Wir machen mit ProductsUp unseren gesamten Produktdatenfeed mit über 3 Millionen Produkten. Mit ihm versorgen wir alle relevanten Marketingkanäle mit dynamisch angepassten Regeln. Des weiteren nutzen wir ProductsUp seit kurzem zur Optimierung der Bilder in unserem Feed.

What did you like?

A good choice of rules to apply for feed editing. Very logical flow of feed transformation. Ability to export different variations of feed with the same items at no extra cost. Ready feed templates for common marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook, etc.)

What did you not like?

Really not much to complain about. Sometimes there are long waiting times for the feed to reload after a rule was applied. You can see a sample data in the preview, but it takes a long time to see all the data updated.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Adjusting product feeds without the need of developer resources. Making customized feeds for every marketing channel. Applying image overlays for fast seasonal creatives updates.

What did you like?

It has an intuitive interface and easy to explain when onboarding new users. Due to the its helpful Data View feature, we can easily explain and visualise to prospective users how the tool handles data across systems.

What did you not like?

Honestly, I have little to nothing critical to share about this tool. The support team is always helpful and quick to respond. The business unit is accommodating to our requests and provides updates on a regular basis.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Connecting data from central tool to external syndicators and retailers.

Anlegen aller Feed-Exporte im Bereich PSM. Übersichtlicher Aufbau und hilfreicher Support. Umfangreiche Möglichkeiten der Datenanpassung.

Links zu Exporten, nicht sofort auffindbar. Die Links könnten präsenter platziert werden.

What did you like?

The flexibility it gives to adjust raw data in your feed based on the needs of each partner. Easy import/export function and connection is available with many platforms. I also find the 'data view' very useful.

What did you not like?

The ux design could be more simplistic. Also the capabilities of the tool are so many that it could be overwhelming. Better platform onboarding would be helpful.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Transforming data based on partners' needs. Filters/rules can be used to make quick changes in our feed which makes us independent from IT resources. Import/export schedule to many different partners.

Der Support und die Hilfe bei der Umsetzung von Ideen und Konzepten. Es gibt eine Vielfalt an Funktionen, die für jede Anwendung und jeden Fall eine Lösung zu bieten hat. Viele Schnittstellen und Feeds sind schon vorgefertigt und bereit für die direkte Nutzung.

What did you not like?

Das Design und UI könnte an paar Stellen optimiert werden, da man sich erstmal zurechtfinden muss. Einige Funktionen sind unter Punkten versteckt, weshalb eine Lernkurve erforderlich ist.

Das Nutzen vieler Exporte gesammelt an einer Stelle, was gleichzeitige Datenübertragung und Bearbeitung möglich macht.

What did you like?

We love the user interface, which is easy to understand and use. You see immediately what changes you have made. The large set of possibilities to manipulate data is very helpful. The tool can be used for different purposes and you quickly get something implemented that works. The support replies very quickly and helps with every question. The high availability of the tool helps us a lot in our daily work.

What did you not like?

The only thing I don't like is that it is not possible to schedule export channels individually, so that the export only takes place on a certain day at a certain time.

Which problems are you solving with the product?

Our customers need our product data in many different formats (Excel, BMEcat, CSV, TXT,…) and we were able to handle all formats with ProductsUp. A major problem is the time-consuming manual post-processing for our customer-specific product data catalogs. The tool has helped us to significantly reduce this manual post-processing, as many of our post-processing can be automated in the tool. We also use the tool to automatically process information from sales in our exports. This enabled us to reduce internal expenses.
