At every OMR Festival, there are a host of changes and updates designed to building and improving on the previous Festival. These go from content to payment, all the way to which halls will be in use to where you can find your translation devices if you don’t Sprechen the Deutsch. To make sure you are up-to-date on the latest, take a minute and read through what’s new.

Starting off the list of what’s new is an important oldie if your German is non-existent or isn’t really all that gut. We want to make sure that all of the speeches on the Expo and Conference Stages that are in German are available in English. That’s why we have translation devices available for free. WHERE? Right next to the wardrobe. So, right after you drop off your coat, be sure to pick up your own personal “babel fish.”

The biggest change to OMR Festival 2019 is that for the first time ever we are taking place in the B Halls of the Hamburg exhibition center. For those of you that have attended in the past, the B Halls are on the other side of the street (across from the TV tower) and have the advantage of giving us (and you) a bit more room to operate. You can reach the Festival grounds from the Exhibition Center entrances South and East.

Cashless Payment – on account

Seems like every year we’re trying out a new payment method. The goal: the most hassle-free and fast payment system there is. We’ll admit it—we hate queues. This year we’re unveiling what we think is the perfect combination: direct pay with the chip in your armband. The chip is paired with your ist myOMR account and you’ll receive an invoice sent to you directly for all of your food and drink purchases at the OMR Festival. Every invoice is individual and itemized.

Cashless Payment

This way you can monitor your expenses essentially in real time. After the Festival, we’ll send you a collective invoice with all of your purchased items.

Topic streams for your own Festival experience

It’s not just the halls that are inceasing in number. OMR19 is delivering more content than ever before. And to make sure that you know what’s on with over 400 exhibitors, 300 speakers, 150 Masterclasses and 30+ Guided Tours, we are employing topic streams. When you click these streams that you are especially interested in(eCommerce, Adtech, Social, etc.) and you will then only be shown those speakers, Masterclasses, tours and exhibitors that are relevant to those topics. Putting together your own personalized Festival experience has never been easier. Start selecting your top topics here.

Still no ticket to the OMR Festival 2019? Better change that with a quickness!

Free Food with the All-Incl Ticket

If you have had an All-Incl Ticket in the past, then you’ll recall that at the Conference food and drink is on the house. This year, we’ve expanded the offer further to include the entire Festival grounds. With the top ticket you can get drinks and grub for free until 6 PM bars on both days (five portions per day). Small exception: to add more variety to the Festival’s food and drink offering, we invited the Northern Germany foodtruck scene to peddle their delicious wares—these, unfortunately, are not included.

Parties aplenty right at your booth

You know OMR and our parties. This year, too, we have an excellent line-up of musical acts to get your tucus in a ruckus. Check out the full list here. Then, we’ll be sending you off into the OMR City Night Out together with our partner Thomas Henry to check out the best clubs and bars Hamburg has to offer. For example, here you can snag your ticket for the inSocial Media Aftershow party in Nikki Tiger. And because there are parties on both days in an extra hall, premium exhibitors can really set the mood with parties right at their booths in Hall B5 from 6:00 PM and midnight.

Here are a few exhibitors with booth (booth number in parenthesis):

  • IQOS (PB09–PC09)
  • Google (PD01–PE01)
  • Cooper Advertising (PI01)
  • Taboola (PB05.1)
  • Media Impact (PD02)
  • XING (PE04)
  • Dynamic Yield + ContentSquare (PI07)
  • WorkGenius (PC02)
  • Exponea (PA08)

Your very own Hymer is waiting

In addition to a convenient payment process, tight concerts and your very own personal interpreter in your ear, one of you will also snag an epic prize: your very own Hymer. Our partners at Hymer have agreed to give away one of their mobile campers—a EUR 50,000 value. It’s the perfect vehicle to experience the North and Baltic Seas, or the Alps, or the Mediterranean. All you have to do to win is take a selfie in front of the Hymer at the Festival and post the pic on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #ohmyhymer.

Coffee delights and energized insights by Melitta

Our new coffee partner is Melitta, who will not only take care of your black gold at OMR19, but will also be on hand at the Melitta living room in the outdoor area. You may have seen it in action already at a music festival here or there. In the living room, you can not only relax over a cup of jo, but you can also smush your face into some milk foam, win your own personalized coffee mug or take down your friends at foosball. In addition, some speakers will be making appearances here including OMR founder Philipp Westermeyer. For more info, check out Melitta’s social channels for the latest.

New family member: The OMR Tourbus

As we mentioned above, the legendary Redbull tourbus is now officially a member of the OMR family. The roof has already seen it’s fair share of live concerts by some legendary bands. We are planning on using the bus for a few roadshows, but maybe you have some excellent ideas on how we could put the bus to good use. The roof can hold up to 10 musicians and the sound system is enough for 700. If you have an idea, we’d love to hear your idea. Drop us a line at: info@omr.com.
